First and foremost, The Humidour Inc. respects the privacy of its customers. We do not share your address, credit card information or email with anyone else. All customer information is strictly used to process orders and for our promotional correspondence to keep you informed in the most convenient, secure & efficient way possible. If you would like to be removed from any of our mailings, please contact us.
 
SECURITY
The Humidour Inc. protects all information by using a secure server. That means that your credit card number and address are encrypted so that it cannot be read as the information travels via the Internet. We have made it a priority to keep your information and shopping experience a safe one.
 
SALES TAX
All orders shipped to Maryland addresses will be charged a 6% sales tax. Please note that if you are not charged sales tax by The Humidour Inc., then any sales tax due in the purchaser’s state is responsible to be paid by the purchaser.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

SHIPPING POLICY
PLEASE NOTE: ALL SHIPMENTS WILL BE DELIVERED ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED. 
 
Free shipping on orders over $150.
Certain oversized, or overweight items may be subject to additional freight charges – any such charges will be noted during the checkout process prior to submitting your order.

If there is an item you would like to purchase online that is not listed, please call or email us. All merchandise leaves our facility in perfect condition. Should any item that is received damaged or lost during transit, please call us immediately. The outer packaging must be saved for us to provide to the shipping provider for verification, otherwise we cannot guarantee that the shipping provider will reimburse us for damages. We will reship all items as soon as the claim is completed with the shipping provider.

STATE RESTRICTIONS:
South Dakota and Utah 
Due to state laws, we will not ship tobacco products to Utah or South Dakota.
California
In accordance with Senate Bill 39, an adult signature is required for California residents. In addition, we will call after 5:00pm PDT to confirm all California orders. We cannot ship tobacco products to P.O. Boxes in California.
Ohio
Effective October 16, 2019, the State of Ohio will be imposing an Excise Tax on all tobacco products delivered to Ohio customers. See  Ohio Code 5743.62  Please note that this excise tax is in addition to the Ohio use tax already imposed on tobacco products delivered to Ohio customers. 
The Ohio Excise Tax rate will differ depending on the type of tobacco product purchased. : 

  • Most premium cigars (and all pipe tobacco) will be taxed at 17% of the
    wholesale price, which would equate to an average retail price increase of 8-11% with a maximum of fifty-two cents ($.52) per premium cigar. 
    In order to protect our business and minors, all shipments will be shipped with adult signature required.

International
We do not ship orders outside the continental U.S.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AFTER I ORDER?

Processing
Orders are processed during our business hours (based on East Coast time zone) and shipped promptly the next business day unless it is on a Friday, then your order will not ship out until Monday since our shipping department is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Please remember this includes holidays as well.
Shipping
All Standard Shipping orders ship via Priority Mail or UPS Ground depending on location of delivery. Shipping delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless otherwise noted.

Certain Shipping Addresses
Orders going to Alaska, Hawaii, APO & FPO address will be sent via Priority Mail only. Upgrade options are not available.
We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
Hazmat Items
Due to FAA regulations, Hazmat items (such as butane) will ship via UPSP Parcel Post and may incur additional delivery times.

BACKORDER ITEMS
Due to the agricultural and handmade nature of our premium cigars, we occasionally encounter delays and out of stocks from our manufacturer.

CAN I CHANGE MY ONLINE ORDER?
Once an online order had been submitted, it cannot be changed online. However, The Humidour Inc. may be able to modify or cancel the order if the time between the submitted order and the packaging of the order is caught in time before it is shipped out. Contact us as soon as possible via phone immediately!
 
CREDIT CARD POLICIES
We process Visa, MC, AMEX and Discover credit cards. We utilize AVS
(address verification service) on all orders received and verify both the billing address and zip code. If either the address or the zip code do not match, we will attempt to verify the correct address via email/or phone. If we do not receive a response in a timely fashion, we reserve the right to cancel the order without further notice as a protection for ourselves and credit card holders.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES
All tobacco purchases are final. Due to climate conditions, we cannot refund any tobacco purchases.
If for any reason you need to return other, non-tobacco items, you may do so for a credit within 30 days of purchase under the following conditions: (a). Original packaging must be provided, and (b) the item must be shipped and received be in new condition. In addition, any promotional items that came with the item you are returning, must be returned or you will be charged for the retail price of the promotional items. A 15% restocking fee may apply.

Sales of tobacco products to individuals under the legal minimum purchase age are illegal. The humidour Inc. makes every attempt to restrict sales of tobacco to individuals of 21 years of age. Certain personal information, provided by you, is used to confirm the minimum age requirements. Such information is not retained in our database therefore not compromising privacy.
